American Systems Consulting, Inc. (ASCI) is a management consulting company specializing in providing automated solutions to both government and commercial customers. As a part of the ASCI development team, a Technical Development Lead provides analysis of client requirements, technical expertise, and project management skills in the support or development of client development and application systems. This position reports to the Manager of Software Development. All ASCI development personnel must be able to professionally represent ASCI in interactions with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site application develop services and support.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience, 6-8 years of related work experience, including 1 year of prior lead, supervisory or technical management experience.
Effectively interface with project team members, all levels of both ASCI and client staff, and any other personnel for satisfactory completion of client project. Effectively utilize project management concepts and tools to analyze client project requirements, design project plans, and manage projects and personnel. Provide functional knowledge, training and/or technical expertise, as required. Document/research issues with ASCI staff and client staff. Determine status of issues and escalate issues according to established policies and procedures. Be available to provide on-call support via pager, if required. Be available to provide support outside of normal working hours. Other duties as assigned.
