Give design leadership to proper computer systems, operating systems, networking and system operations. Provide support of computer systems, their operations, and their networking and data communications connections. All systems administration personnel must be able to professionally represent ASCI in interactions with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience, 10 years related work experience, including 6+ years LAN/WAN and TCP/IP, networking and data communications experience; or a Masters degree in a related technical area and 8 years of work experience, including 6+ years LAN/WAN and TCP/IP, networking and data communications experience.
Will install, configure, test, implement, and support computer systems, from desk-top to large servers, including network and data communication connections, and associated equipment. Provide senior-level analysis and diagnostic trouble-shooting, testing, and correction or avoidance of complex computer system problems, including related network and data communication issues. Design and document computer systems and operating systems configurations according to ASCI and client standards, including network and data communications connections. Develop concepts, research, and evaluate new hardware and software technologies. Create and document procedures for the operation and maintenance of multiple and networked: computer systems, operating systems, and related equipment and software. Provide remote or on-site support of computer systems, operating systems, and related equipment and software. Train ASCI and client staff in the use of systems and related equipment. Lead and supervise staff to complete multiple, and complex, projects.
