Under supervision, as a part of the ASCI quality assurance team, a Quality Assurance Specialist II creates/edits software test plans, provides simple analysis of testing issues, documents testing results, and communicates results of testing efforts. All quality assurance personnel must be able to professionally represent ASCI in interactions with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site support.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, and 2-4 years of related experience.
Under direction, perform as an interface point for ASCI quality assurance activities. Effectively communicate with ASCI management, customers, end users, other staff and systems development personnel, concerning application development, testing and support issues. Assist in maintaining testbed systems including data and system operations. ASCI testbed systems may include multiple hardware and software platforms. Under direction, provide quality assurance software testing and report results. Under direction, assist in maintaining ASCI testbed documentation. Under direction, create and execute software test plans in support of ASCI development efforts. Be available to provide on-call support outside of normal working hours. Be able to provide training to client personnel for testing efforts. Other duties as assigned.
