American Systems Consulting, Inc. (ASCI) is a management consulting company specializing in providing automated solutions to both government and commercial customers. As a part of the ASCI management team, a Director of Programs provides planning, leadership and management for systems development and support projects. Projects may include software development, documentation/training, system support, and/or software testing activities. A program manager provides systems analysis and support, and manages staff. All ASCI management personnel must be able to professionally represent ASCI in interactions with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site application develop services and support.

A Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience, and 8 years of related work experience. A Master’s Degree may be substituted with 8 years of related work experience.

Provide leadership for all aspects of program efforts to Project Managers and staff to complete project objectives. Provide management and supervision to staff as appropriate. Effectively interface with all levels of client, vendor, ASCI, and associates to achieve project objectives. Provide concept formulation, design, and management expertise. Analyze and review concept and technical documentation. Provide resolution for escalated issues from ASCI staff and client staff. Analyze client needs and recommend solutions. Other duties as assigned.
