American Systems Consulting, Inc. (ASCI) is a management consulting company specializing in providing automated solutions to both government and commercial customers. As a part of the ASCI management team, an Assistant Director of Systems Development provides technical leadership and management for systems development and support projects. Projects may include software development, documentation/training, system/network support, and/or software testing activities. All ASCI management personnel must be able to professionally represent ASCI in interactions with clients, from management to end-users, to provide both remote and on-site application development services and support.
A Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience, and 8 years of related work experience. A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted with 8 years of related work experience.
Provide leadership as assigned, for all aspects of software and technical development Assist in providing senior-level support for program efforts to program managers and staff in order to complete project objectives. Effectively interface with all levels of client, vendor, ASCI, and associates to achieve project objectives. Provide concept formulation, technical design, and management expertise. Analyze and review concept and technical documentation. Analyze client needs and recommend solutions. Other duties as assigned.
